According to the bending and torsion resistance characteristics of material mechanics, the interior of the rotor shaft is appropriately hollowed out, and only a small outer diameter needs to be added to the exterior. Hollow shafts can meet the same performance and function as solid shafts, but their weight can be significantly reduced. At the same time, due to the hollowing of the rotor shaft, cooling oil can enter the interior of the rotor shaft, increasing the heat dissipation area and improving the heat dissipation efficiency. Under the current trend of 800V high-voltage fast charging, the advantage of hollow rotor shaft is greater. The current production methods for hollow rotor shafts mainly include solid shaft hollowing, welding, and integrated molding. Among them, welding and integrated molding are more commonly used in production.
