It performs functions such as pressure reduction, flow restriction, noise suppression, filtration, and on/off control. These devices are primarily deployed at coal mining faces, tunneling faces, blasting sites, manned areas within return-air roadways, shaft-bottom stations, transport roadways, pump rooms, substations, long blind headings, and refuge chambers.
