2,3-Dichloro-1,4-Naphthoquinone (CAS 117-80-6) is a yellow crystal with the molecular formula C10H4Cl2O2. It is used as intermediate of medicine, pesticide and dyestuff. It is an important intermediate in the production of pesticides amlonaphthoquinone (algaquinone) and dicyananthraquinone (dithianon). It is also an important cocatalyst for the production of 3,3-dichlorobenzidine (DCB).
