Description

The global Titanium Diboride Nanopowder market is projected to grow from US$ 11.42 million in 2025 to US$ 15.16 million by 2032, at a CAGR of 4.2% (2026-2032), driven by critical product segments and diverse end‑use applications, while evolving U.S. tariff policies introduce trade‑cost volatility and supply‑chain uncertainty.

Titanium diboride (TiB2) is an extremely hard ceramic which has excellent heat conductivity, oxidation stability and resistance to mechanical erosion. Its melting point is approximately 3230℃ and has a density of 4.52 g/cm3. Titanium Boride is the most stable of several titanium-boron compounds. The material does not occur in nature but may be synthesized by carbothermal reduction of TiO2 and B2O3. TiB2 is resistant to oxidation in air at temperatures up to 1100 °C, and to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids, but reacts with alkalis, nitric acid and sulfuric acid. TiB2 is also a reasonable electrical conductor, so it can be used as a cathode material in aluminum smelting and can be shaped by electrical discharge machining. Titanium boride micron powders are commonly used in ceramic sintered parts, structural applications including cutting tool composites, ceramic armor nozzles, wear parts, seals, molten metal crucibles and metallizing boats.

From a downstream perspective, Conductive Ceramic Materials accounted for % of 2025 revenue, surging to US$ million by 2032 (CAGR: % from 2026–2032).

Titanium Diboride Nanopowder leading manufacturers (including Hoganas, Materion, Momentive Technologies, 3M, Kyocera Corporation, PENSC, Jinzhou Haixin Metal Materials, Japan New Metals, Eno Material, Treibacher, etc.), dominate supply; the top five capture approximately % of global revenue, with Hoganas leading 2025 sales at US$ million.

Regional Outlook:
North America rose from US$ million in 2025 to a forecast US$ million by 2032 (CAGR %).

Asia‑Pacific will expand from US$ million to US$ million (CAGR %), led by China (US$ million in 2025, % share rising to % by 2032), Japan (CAGR %), South Korea (CAGR %), and Southeast Asia (CAGR %).

Europe is set to grow from US$ million to US$ million (CAGR %), with Germany projected to hit US$ million by 2032 (CAGR %).

Global Titanium Diboride Nanopowder Market Research Report 2024
