This indicates that fertilizer companies are shifting from purchasing general-purpose chemicals to sourcing solutions tailored to fertilizer formulations, granule structures, storage periods, and climatic conditions.

Technological approaches will become more diversified. Traditional mineral oil, fatty amine, and wax-based coatings still offer cost and maturity advantages, while water-based emulsions, vegetable oil-based formulations, natural mineral powders, and biodegradable materials will see wider application.
