Tamarind gum is obtained from endosperm of seeds of the tamarind tree, which is a seed gum with potential industrial applications. The ratio by weight of the three sugar constituents (glucose, xylose, and galactose) in tamarind gum is approximately 3:2:1 respectively. Tamarind gum is obtained from endosperm of seeds of the tamarind tree, which is a seed gum with potential industrial applications.
