Cysteamine, an important pesticide intermediate, is commonly used in industrial production of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, cosmetics, etc. due to its active thiol and amino groups. Feed additives CS and CSH are ideal substances for reducing the level of somatostatin in the body, promoting digestion and metabolism, and promoting animal growth. It can be used as a growth promoter in livestock and poultry production. CS is used for feed, and its advantages include no species specificity, suitability for production applications, wide applicability, and low cost. CS and its hydrochloride salt CSH in the cosmetics field are intermediate raw materials for some cosmetics and also a reducing agent for cold curly hair. They break the sulfur bond in the hair, reducing the tryptophan to a semi tryptophan containing a thiol group. The hair becomes soft, bends and deforms with the curling iron, and is then oxidized and shaped by oxidants to achieve a better curling effect.
