The global Hard Ferrite Magnets market is projected to grow from US$ 3609 million in 2025 to US$ 4648 million by 2031, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 4.3% during the forecast period.
Hard Ferrite Magnets are also called Ceramic Magnets. There are mainly two types of Hard Ferrite Magnets, Barium ferrite (BaO.6Fe2O3) and Strontium ferrite (SrO.6Fe2O3). Compared with other permanent magnets, sintered ferrite magnet is cheap. It is most suitable for most sensitive, but need not very high performance application. As this is a non-metal magnets, it is the ideal magnets for applications that require non-rusty magnets in humid environment. Sintered ferrite (ceramic) magnets are also available in forms of isotropic and an-isotropic. The magnetic properties of isotropic ferrite are the same in all directions, therefore they can be magnetized in any pole arrangements. An-isotropic Hard Ferrite Magnets, on the other hand, can only be magnetized in the direction they are oriented during production, but they have much higher magnetic strength than isotropic ones.
Global key players of Hard Ferrite Magnets include TDK, Proterial, DMEGC, Guangdong JPMF, Sinomag, etc. The top five players hold a share about 29%. Asia-Pacific is the world's largest market for Hard Ferrite Magnets and holds a share about 45%, followed by North America and Europe, with share about 25% and 23%, separately. In terms of product type, Sintered Ferrite Magnet is the largest segment, accounting for a share about 68%. In terms of application, Electro-Acoustic Products is the largest field with a share about 27 percent.
