In this report, "cast copper ingots" refers to qualified copper and copper alloy casting billets that meet internal quality standards for further processing or commercial delivery, and are subsequently processed or sold to external customers. The statistical scope includes:

Qualified cast copper ingots produced and consumed internally by copper processing enterprises;

Qualified copper billets transferred between plants within the group for further processing;

Copper ingots, round billets, square billets, slabs, cakes, and other general casting billets sold to external customers.

The statistical scope excludes copper anodes, blister copper, refined cathode copper, copper scrap, copper master alloys, copper powder, copper balls, copper castings, and copper components intended for specific end-use applications.

This report explicitly excludes copper rod production routes—such as SCR, Contirod, Properzi, UPCAST, and Dip Form processes, as well as other coiled copper rods or rough-drawn wire products. Even if the production process involves melting and continuous casting, the output is not counted as cast copper ingots if the final product is directly an electrical copper rod, wire rod, or coiled billet intended for wire drawing.
