The 25G transconjunctival sutureless vitrectomy system is a vitrectomy surgery performed with minimal trauma. It uses a special trocar to directly puncture the bulbar conjunctiva and sclera to enter the vitreous cavity for surgery. The surgical incision is significantly reduced and no suture is required, so it is called "minimally traumatic" surgery. The system is mainly composed of microcannulas, cannula puncture needles, perfusion tubes, cannula plugs and plug forceps. Among them, the diameters of the cannulas and surgical instruments are very small, so that only three very small needle holes (0.5 mm in diameter) are needed to pass through the wall of the eyeball. The perfusion tube and surgical instruments are inserted into the eyeball through the cannula, and no sutures are required to fix them.
