Centre Pivot Irrigation is also called circle irrigation and water-wheel system. This is a method of crop irrigation system that has equipment that rotates around a pivot and the crop is watered through sprinklers. The circular that is centred in the pivot is irrigated. The crop is also created in a circular pattern when it is viewed from above. Previously the Centre Pivot Irrigation was water-powered but today owing to technological advancements most of the crops are propelled by electric motors. Centre Pivot Irrigation is also called circle irrigation and water-wheel system. This is a method of crop irrigation system that has equipment that rotates around a pivot and the crop is watered through sprinklers. The circular that is centred in the pivot is irrigated. The crop is also created in a circular pattern when it is viewed from above. Previously the Centre Pivot Irrigation was water-powered but today owing to technological advancements most of the crops are propelled by electric motors.
