Shell core machine is a kind of professional equipment used in foundry industry, mainly used for manufacturing shell core. Shell core machine generally adopts hot core box method or cold core box method to manufacture shell core. Hot core box method is to fill the sand core mixture mixed with thermosetting resin into the core box heated to a certain temperature. Under the action of heat, the resin is rapidly solidified to form a shell core with a certain strength and shape. Cold core box method is to pass gas curing agent into the core box or use self-hardening resin sand to make the sand core mixture quickly solidify and form at room temperature. The structure usually consists of core box, sand shooting mechanism, heating system (hot core box method), gas supply system (cold core box method), clamping device and control system. The core box is the mold that forms the shape of the shell core. The sand shooting mechanism is responsible for shooting the sand core mixture into the core box at high speed. The heating system is used to heat the core box in the hot core box method. The gas supply system provides the gas required for curing for the cold core box method. The clamping device is used to keep the core box tightly closed during the sand shooting and curing process. The control system accurately controls the entire core making process to ensure the quality and production efficiency of the shell core.
