Description
The global market for Fusion Reactor Components was estimated to be worth US$ million in 2025 and is projected to reach US$ million, growing at a CAGR of %from 2026 to 2032.
Fusion reactor components are key components for fusion and consist of heating systems, magnetic field systems, vacuum systems, plasma control systems, and monitoring systems.Among them, the heating system is used to provide enough energy to give the atomic nuclei enough kinetic energy to bring the atomic nuclei close to each other. Commonly used methods of heating systems include laser heating and ion heating. The magnetic field system is used to confine the plasma within a specific space, preventing the plasma from colliding with the container walls and dissipating energy. Magnetic field systems generally use strong magnetic fields. Common magnetic field configurations include tokamak, magnetic mirror, and spherical tokamak. The vacuum system is used to create a low-pressure environment to reduce the probability of collision between plasma and gas molecules and ensure the stability of the plasma. The plasma control system is used to control parameters such as the density, temperature and motion state of the plasma to achieve control of the nuclear fusion reaction. The monitoring system is used to measure and monitor various parameters during nuclear fusion experiments, such as the temperature, density, composition of the plasma, and the energy and particle number of the reaction products.
By studying experimental devices composed of fusion reactor components, we can better understand the principles and applications of nuclear fusion, providing important support for future energy solutions and nuclear physics research.
