Xe2 excimer lamp is a light source made by non-electrode discharge forms such as microwave discharge and dielectric barrier discharge (DBD). Its working substance is Xe2, which mainly emits ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 172nm. This light source has the characteristics of high efficiency, environmental protection, and spectral purity, and has broad application prospects in many fields. The working principle of Xe2 excimer lamp mainly involves the excitation and radiation process of rare gases. Under high voltage, high frequency or specific discharge conditions, Xe2 molecules are excited to a high energy state, and then when these excited excimers transition downward to the ground state, they emit ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 172nm. Since Xe2 molecules are unstable in the excited state, they will quickly decompose into xenon atoms, thereby avoiding the natural absorption of radiation and ensuring the high efficiency of the light source.

Xe2 excimer light source is mainly made by non-electrode discharge forms such as microwave discharge and dielectric barrier discharge. Its working substance is Xe2, which can emit 172nm ultraviolet light. Xe2 excimer light source has high efficiency, and the light energy conversion efficiency can reach more than 50%. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy manufacturing, selectable output wavelength, and high spectral purity. Xe2 excimer light source has broad application prospects in the fields of photocuring technology, laser micromachining, scientific research and technological application. For example, in photocuring technology, the functional curing of materials can be achieved through the high-energy radiation of 172nm ultraviolet light, which has the advantages of fast curing speed, high efficiency and environmental protection. In the field of laser micromachining, Xe2 excimer laser can provide energy from 100mJ to 1000mJ, which is suitable for accurate processing of various materials.
