XRT Ore Sorting Machine is a sensor-based sorting system used in mining and mineral processing to continuously inspect discrete ore particles using X-ray transmission technology. It measures differences in X-ray attenuation as radiation passes through individual particles and uses the resulting atomic-density information, internal high-density mineral distribution and transmission image features to identify and classify each particle. The machine generally integrates an ore feeding and conveying system, X-ray source, detector array, image acquisition and data-processing system, sorting control system and high-speed ejection mechanism.
