Compared with conventional contact ultrasonic testing, it does not require water, gel, or another coupling medium and is particularly suitable for high-temperature components, complex geometries, moving production lines, composite materials, metals, semiconductor structures, and other objects that are difficult to inspect by direct-contact methods.
