It is usually made from a coating of polyurethane (PU) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) applied to microfiber fabric. Synthetic leather with microfiber nonwoven fabric as the base fabric and PU resin as the coating is called microfiber super real leather (also called microfiber synthetic leather). The process of making other synthetic leather begins with laying down strips of fabric and coating them with polyurethane resin.
