Vacuum atomization furnace is a device designed to meet the research and small batch production of atomization powder making process under vacuum conditions. The atomization furnace is produced by the preparation technology. This equipment is used to produce the ideal powder through the rapid solidification process to prepare nickel powder and 304 powder. If the water-cooled copper crucible is replaced, titanium powder can also be prepared. The upper part of the equipment is the smelting chamber, the middle is the holding furnace and nozzle ring, and the lower part is the atomization device and the collection barrel. The unit is composed of oil booster pump, Roots pump and mechanical pump.
Working principle of vacuum atomization furnace:
Metal or metal alloy is smelted under vacuum conditions. Under the condition of gas protection, the metal liquid flows out (downward) through the heat preservation crucible and the diversion nozzle, and the metal liquid is atomized and broken into a large number of fine droplets by the high-pressure airflow through the nozzle. The fine liquid droplets solidify into spherical or sub-spherical particles in flight to achieve the purpose of powder making.
