Its melting point is 292ºC, boiling point is 376ºC, and density is 4.379g/cm³. In addition, it has a high solubility in water, and 385 grams of antimony trifluoride can be dissolved in every 100 ml of water at 20ºC. At the same time, it is also soluble in methanol, ethanol and polar organic solvents, but insoluble in benzene, chlorobenzene and petroleum ether. Antimony trifluoride should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. The packaging should be sealed and stored separately from oxidants, acids, edible chemicals, etc., and mixed storage should not be allowed. In addition, the storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leaks to prevent harm to the environment and human body.
