The RF generator (RF power supply) is a power supply with a certain power that can generate a fixed frequency sine wave voltage. Its frequency is within the RF range (about 3KHz to 300GHz). The general power is 0.3 to 15kW, and the frequency ranges are 2 MHz, 4KHz, 13.56 MHz, 27.12 MHz, 40.68MHz, 60MHz, etc. High-frequency power supply can be used to generate stable current and voltage to meet the needs of various mechanical equipment.
The RF generator is mainly composed of 5 parts: DC power supply module, oscillation circuit module, power amplifier module, RF power detection module, and RF interlocking control module.
DC power supply module: supplies power to the internal control circuit board of the power supply, including 24V, 15V and other voltages;
Oscillator circuit module: is the crystal oscillation part, generating a sine wave signal;
Power amplifier module: consists of several solid-state transistors, the main purpose is to amplify the power of high-frequency signals so that the output power meets the output requirements;
RF power detection module: mainly detects the control circuit, detects the incident power and reflected power through high-frequency measurement inductance, and provides the signal to the main control board to achieve automatic PID control;

In minimally invasive surgery, skin tissue is usually destroyed by radiofrequency ablation. It is divided into monopolar and bipolar according to the type of radiofrequency electrode. In monopolar radiofrequency ablation, a group of electrodes uses a grounding plate to form a circuit flowing through the whole body, providing energy at the tumor location. The grounding plate serves as the return path of the radiofrequency current and is usually located on the patient's thigh or back. Bipolar radiofrequency ablation allows current to flow between multiple groups of electrodes and does not require the use of a grounding plate.
