It will be suitable for 5G antenna materials, and it will also be widely used in various fields.
High-frequency film-grade LCP will replace PI and MPI to become the revolutionary core material of 5G high-frequency millimeter wave. It is the preferred material for millimeter wave frequency antennas and high-frequency terminal applications above 20GHz. It is also the only key raw material required for high-frequency transmission lines, antennas, high-frequency substrates, and millimeter wave radars for vehicles above 77GHz/79GHz. It is irreplaceable in the developing millimeter wave application terminal products. At present, the mass production technology and production capacity of film-grade high-frequency millimeter wave LCP ester granules are mainly controlled by international manufacturers such as Japan Polyplastics, Sumitomo Chemical and Celanese in the United States due to the very high manufacturing technology threshold. The 5G layout in the next five years is in line with expectations to achieve full coverage, and the penetration rate of LCP film in 5G mobile phones has reached 80%.
