These heaters are fabricated in various geometries—such as rods (Ø1–50 mm), wires (Ø0.05–3 mm), strips (0.1–10 mm thick), and mesh panels—with material purities of ≥99.95% to ensure minimal contamination in semiconductor, metallurgy, and aerospace processes. Electrical resistivity ranges from ~5.2 to 19 µΩ·cm depending on the metal, and thermal conductivity varies from ~57 W/m·K (Ta) to ~174 W/m·K (W). Mechanical strength spans from 200 MPa (Ta) to over 900 MPa (W), and heaters are typically designed to support 500 W to 50 kW power ratings, mounted via clamping, bolting, or suspension. Compatible with vacuum, argon, nitrogen, or hydrogen atmospheres, these heaters may also be customized with oxidation-resistant coatings and integrated into complete hot zone assemblies.
