Electron Beam Curing (EBC) is a type of radiation curing technology. High-energy electron beams directly interact with the system to be cured to cause polymerization, grafting or cross-linking reactions, thereby curing the material. The electron beam (EB) curing process generates less heat than UV and LED curing, providing a more complete cure with virtually no odor. EB units use up to 95% less energy than thermal drying and up to 80% less energy than UV curing.
