Float Zone Wafer is a high-purity silicon wafer that can replace silicon wafers made by CZ single crystal straight pulling process. Since the Float Zone Wafer does not contact the quartz crucible during the crystal growth process, the silicon material is in a suspended state, so there is less contamination during the crystal growth process. It has lower carbon and oxygen content, fewer impurities, and higher resistivity, which is suitable for the manufacture of power devices and certain high-voltage electronic devices.

With the rapid development of information technology, consumer electronics, communication equipment and computer industries, the demand for high-performance semiconductor materials continues to increase. Due to its high purity and low defect characteristics, zone melting silicon wafers are widely used in high-end semiconductor devices and have become an important basic material for the manufacture of these devices.
