Low temperature thermoplastic board is a special synthetic high molecular polyester, a new type of medical material processed by a series of physical and chemical methods. Its molecules are in a stable state in a dry environment at room temperature (10℃-30℃), and can be softened after heating in 65-70℃ water for 1-3 minutes, and can be hardened in 3-5 minutes at room temperature. Because this material has outstanding properties such as non-absorption of radiation, good shaping effect after heating and softening, and unique shape memory function (when the shaping is not satisfactory, it can be heated again, reshaped or locally heated and reshaped), as well as simple operation and convenient fixation, it is currently an ideal external fixation material for radiotherapy positioning and orthopedic fixation.
