A non-isolated gate driver is a circuit that provides only the basic gate drive signal. It directly converts a low-voltage control signal into a high-voltage switching signal suitable for the gate of a MOSFET or IGBT. The absence of isolation means that the driver and the power switch being driven are electrically directly connected, making it suitable for applications where high voltage isolation is not required.
