A Portable Light Field Camera is that uses a single camera and a single master lens to obtain both a 2D image and measured and calibrated 3D depth of field information in a single shot. The principle of the composition of this camera is to add a special micro-lens array between the main lens of the camera and a high-quality sensor. Through the refraction of the lens, the image of the scene can be focused in front of the micro-lens array, through which the micro-lens will be re-imaged to the image gathered here and projected to a high-quality image sensor. The camera does not process internally, the vision outputs the raw image to a PC, and the GPU processes the raw image to obtain 2D and 3D data.
