The composition of flexible copper-clad laminates mainly includes three types of materials:
Insulation base film materials: The insulation base film materials used for flexible copper-clad laminates include polyester (PET) film, polyimide (PI) film, polyester imide film, fluorocarbon ethylene film, polyimide fiber paper, polybutylene terephthalate film, etc. Among them, the most widely used are polyester film (PET film) and polyimide film (PI film).
Metal conductor foil: Metal conductor foil is a conductor material used for flexible copper-clad laminates, including copper foil (ordinary electrolytic copper foil, high ductility electrolytic copper foil, rolled copper foil), aluminum foil, and copper beryllium alloy foil.
