Submersible axial flow pump is a pump designed to move a large amount of fluid in low head (or low pressure) environments. It is typically used in applications that require moving high flow rates of water or other liquids from one location to another, such as flood control, irrigation, or drainage systems. The pump consists of an electric motor and a propeller installed on the shaft. Both the motor and propeller are submerged in the pumped fluid, which makes the pump operate more efficiently than surface mounted pumps. When the motor rotates the propeller, it generates a stream of fluid that flows in a straight line parallel to the pump shaft.
