The stacking process of lithium-ion battery manufacturing is to stack the die cut positive and negative electrodes with a separator to form the bare cells of the battery. There are two main forms of lamination: Z-shaped lamination and bag making lamination. The Z-shaped lamination directly stacks the positive and negative electrodes that are about to be die cut with the separator to form a battery cell; Bag making laminated film is a process of adding a bag making process before laminating. The positive and negative electrodes that have been die cut are separately placed into diaphragm bags. When laminating, only the positive and negative electrode bags are stacked at intervals to form a battery cell. Stacking machine is a key process equipment for the production of large and medium-sized lithium-ion batteries in power and energy storage industries. The process of producing stacked battery cells is complex, strictly controlled, and has many safety factors, which once became a bottleneck in lithium-ion battery manufacturing.lithium battery manufacturing equipment (hereinafter referred to as "lithium battery equipment") refers to the general name of various devices that use equipment to make electrochemical materials into cells through various processes and participate in the assembly of battery systems. There are many manufacturing processes for lithium-ion batteries. There are more than 50 processes in the production process, and more than 50 kinds of equipment are required. Lithium battery equipment is divided into front-end equipment, middle-end equipment and rear-end equipment according to the battery production and manufacturing process. The value proportion of middle-end equipment is about 35%, and the winding / laminating machine is the core of middle-end equipment, accounting for about 70%.

With the large-scale promotion and popularization of new energy vehicles, people's diversified demands for new energy vehicles have further increased, such as higher safety performance, longer range, and faster charging speed; So, blade batteries (long cells) entered our field of vision, but the structure of the "blade battery" cells became narrow and elongated, and the winding process could no longer meet the production requirements of the new generation of batteries. The stacking process adopts a multi pole parallel connection method to reduce the internal resistance of the battery and improve charging efficiency; And the heat generated during the charge and discharge cycles is relatively small and uniform, resulting in higher battery safety; In addition, the lamination process makes the internal space of the battery more fully utilized, and the energy density of the battery is relatively higher. In 2015, in order to strengthen the management of lithium-ion battery industry and improve the development level of the industry, China formulated the Standard of Lithium-ion Battery Industry. the global sales of new energy vehicles reached 10.8 million units in 2022, with a year-on-year increase of 61.6%. In 2022, China new energy vehicle sales reached 6.8 million units, and the global share increased to 63.6%. In Q4 2022, sales penetration rate of China's new energy vehicle reached 27%, while the global average penetration rate was only 15%. Europe penetration was 19%, and North America penetration rate was only 6%. Lithium batteries will fully benefit from the high growth of downstream demand. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China's lithium-ion battery production reached 750 GWh in 2022, up more than 130 percent year on year. Among them, the output of lithium energy storage battery exceeded 100 GWh, and the total output value of the industry exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan. The industrial application of lithium battery was also growing rapidly. In 2022, the loading capacity of new energy vehicle power battery was about 295 GWh, and the new energy vehicle power battery was about 295 GWh.
