Airborne optoelectronic systems are developing rapidly and have a high degree of technical integration, and are widely used in national defense, air traffic, UAVs and other fields. The principle of scheduled action can be divided into information perception, information transmission and energy transmission. Multispectral imaging technology refers to dozens of frequency bands ranging from visible light to infrared, with spatial resolution ranging from several centimeters to several meters. It has the functions of target search, reconnaissance and surveillance, tracking and guidance, and is suitable for UAVs, helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft and other platforms.

Multispectral Airborne Optoelectronics is an optoelectronic sensor system used on aerial or UAV platforms that is capable of capturing and recording electromagnetic radiation in multiple bands. These bands usually include visible light, infrared, and near-infrared, and each band represents a different spectral range. Multispectral sensors are equipped with multiple optical filters that selectively capture specific bands of electromagnetic radiation. The detector in the sensor is used to receive and convert the radiation signal captured by the optical sensor into an electrical signal. The captured electrical signals will be processed and analyzed by the data processing unit to obtain multispectral image data about the observation area.
