Hexachlorodisilane, with the molecular formula Si2Cl6, is abbreviated as HCDS, also known as hexachlorodisilane and hexachlorodisilane. Hexachlorodisilane is a colorless, transparent liquid with stable performance and low volatility. It reacts violently with water and is insoluble in alcohols and strong bases.
