Non-destructive testing (NDT) is the process of testing materials without destroying them. Because NDT does not permanently change the items being inspected, it is a very valuable technology that can save money and time in product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research. Radiography is a non-destructive testing method that uses X-rays or gamma rays to detect materials and workpieces, and uses radiographic film as a recording medium and display method.
