A balanced bridge is an important concept in the bridge circuit. When the potential of two specific contacts in the bridge is equal, that is, the bridge output of these two contacts is zero, the bridge is called a balanced bridge. In the absence of external power supply, the state where the voltage difference between the diagonals of the bridge is zero is also considered to be a balanced bridge. In this state, the product of the resistances of the upper and lower arms of the bridge is equal, and the current is evenly distributed in each branch of the bridge and does not flow to the diagonal. The bridge circuit is usually composed of four resistors, which are connected to the four vertices of a rhombus, called R1, R2, R3 and R4 (or Rx, one of the resistors is usually used for measurement or to be measured). One diagonal of the quadrilateral is connected to a galvanometer, called a "bridge"; the other diagonal of the quadrilateral is connected to a power supply, called the "power diagonal" of the bridge. A balanced bridge is often used to accurately measure resistance. By adjusting the resistance of the resistors in the bridge so that the output of the bridge is zero, the resistance of the resistor to be measured can be calculated based on the known resistance.
The global Balanced Bridge revenue was US$ million in 2023 and is forecast to a readjusted size of US$ million by 2030 with a CAGR of %during the review period (2024-2030).
