A differential clock buffer is a circuit that amplifies and replicates a differential clock signal to drive multiple load circuits. A differential clock signal consists of two opposite signals (such as a clock and an inverted clock), which can improve the signal's anti-interference and clock jitter suppression capabilities. A differential clock buffer typically consists of a differential pair that receives an input differential clock signal and produces an amplified differential output signal, and an amplifier stage that amplifies and drives the output signal to multiple load circuits. When designing a differential clock buffer, the capacitive loading of the load circuit and the operating frequency, as well as the delay and jitter of the signal transmission need to be considered. Differential clock buffers are widely used in high-speed digital circuits such as processors, memory and communication systems. They provide high-performance, high-reliability clock signals and ensure simultaneous operation of multiple load circuits. At the same time, the differential clock buffer can also be used in data timing control, synchronization circuits and other application scenarios that require high-speed clock signals.
