GaP epitaxial wafers are used as raw materials of LED chips, in which a GaP light-emitting layer is grown on the GaP monocrystal substrate (n-type) using the liquid-phase epitaxial growth method.

However, sales in the largest Asia-Pacific region were US$336.2 billion, down 2.0% year-on-year.
