The 4-wire resistive touch screen controller needs to be used in conjunction with the resistive touch screen. The resistive touch screen is composed of two layers of ITO film. By setting 4 electrodes on the ITO film, 4 resistors are formed. When a finger touches the touch screen, the ITO film will produce a change in resistance value, and the 4-wire resistive touch screen controller calculates the coordinates of the touch position by measuring the change in resistance value.
