A passive mmWave detector is a device for detecting and receiving mmWave radiation that works on the basis of receiving natural radiation from the surrounding environment without an active radiation source. Passive mmWave detectors are usually used in applications such as security detection, remote sensing and monitoring. Passive mmWave detectors take advantage of naturally occurring mmWave radiation, such as thermal radiation or radiation from the sky and the ground, by receiving and analyzing this radiation to obtain relevant information. These detectors usually work in the millimeter wave frequency band (the frequency range is roughly between 30 GHz and 300 GHz), and the radiation in this frequency band can penetrate many common obstacles, such as smoke, fog, plastic and cloth, etc. And monitoring has unique advantages.
