Fluidized energy mill works on the principle of impact and interparticle attrition to achieve the desired particle size. Pulverization takes place in the central chamber of the fluid energy mill as the process material is driven by multiple jets of air or steam at near-sonic speeds around the annular chamber. No grinding media involved. The size reduction is the result of high-speed collisions between particles of the process material itself. The internal design of the chamber allows for the recirculation of very large particles, thereby increasing the incidence and impact of these collisions. As the particles decrease in size and gradually lose mass, they naturally migrate towards the central discharge port, allowing precise sorting to be both automated and precisely controllable. The process involves no moving parts or screens and works with almost any brittle or crystalline material, even very abrasive ones. With precise metering of product input and air or steam velocity, finished pellets can be classified and sorted with a high degree of predictability and repeatability.

As the particles decrease in size and gradually lose mass, they naturally migrate towards the central discharge port, allowing precise sorting to be both automated and precisely controllable. Pulverization takes place in the central chamber of the fluid energy mill as the process material is driven by multiple jets of air or steam at near-sonic speeds around the annular chamber. No grinding media involved. The size reduction is the result of high-speed collisions between particles of the process material itself. The internal design of the chamber allows for the recirculation of very large particles, thereby increasing the incidence and impact of these collisions. As the particles decrease in size and gradually lose mass, they naturally migrate towards the central discharge port, allowing precise sorting to be both automated and precisely controllable. The process involves no moving parts or screens and works with almost any brittle or crystalline material, even very abrasive ones. With precise metering of product input and air or steam velocity, finished pellets can be classified and sorted with a high degree of predictability and repeatability.
