In aeroengines, the intermediate casing is the most important load-bearing component of the engine. It is equivalent to the skeleton of the human body. It directly affects the performance of the aeroengine and requires high reliability and long life. Casting titanium alloy intermediate casings is indispensable to modern aeroengines.
