Fast Axis Collimators are compact, high performance aspheric cylindrical lenses designed for beam shaping or laser diode collimation applications. The aspheric cylindrical designs and high numerical apertures allow for uniform collimation of the entire output of a laser diode while maintaining high beam quality. Fast Axis Collimators feature greater than 99% transmission across the designated spectral range, and are available in a variety of focal lengths. The Fast-Axis Collimator lens is the first and most important optical component in the development and production of diode laser systems.
