Ozone has strong oxidation performance. Oxygen atoms in ozone molecules have strong electron-philicity or proton-philicity. The decomposition of ozone will generate new ecological oxygen atoms and form hydroxyl radical ·OH with strong oxidation in water to oxidize and decompose pollutants in water. Ozone catalytic oxidation technology is an efficient advanced wastewater treatment technology, which is a hot application in the field of wastewater treatment in recent years. Compared with ozone as a single oxidant, hydroxyl radical (·O H) formed by ozone under the action of catalyst has a higher reaction rate with organic matter, stronger oxidation, almost all organic matter can be oxidized. Catalysts can catalyze ozone to directly oxidize organic matter in water to CO2 and H2O, or to oxidize and decompose large organic matter into small molecules, making it easier to degrade.
