A robot speed reducer, also known as a robotic speed reducer or speed reducer for robots, is an intermediate device which connects a servo motor and actuator. The robot speed reducer is able to slow down an industrial robot by extracting the power generated by the servo motor in high-speed rotation via the pinion on the input shaft that meshes with the gear wheel of the output shaft in order to deliver substantial torque.
