China Newsweek quoted an analysis of the hot and sour noodles industry published by Hengzhou Bozhi
According to QYR (Hengzhou Bozhi), the market sales of hot and sour noodles reached 1,489.63 million yuan in 2021, exceeding one billion yuan in just one category. Jingdong data, on the other hand, showed that in the first half of 2022, the online turnover of convenient instant food increased by more than 50 per cent year-on-year, with Guangxi snail powder accounting for more than 50 per cent of the turnover, followed by hot and sour noodles, which accounted for nearly 30 per cent.
