OLED Display is a coherent part of globally rising commercial end-use industry. This end-use will foresee a high traction globally due to growing hospitality industry in North America and APAC region. This phenomenon is expected to increase demand in next eight years.
The traditional screen display technologies are LCD and OLED, but the display principle is completely different. LCD adopts the backlight panel, which is used to block the backlight in front of the backplate, forming different brightness points, and then combining the filter color film to realize the color display; OLED is made of small glowing materials that are stimulated by current.
LCD should block the backlight, but the backlight cannot be completely blocked. When the black screen is displayed, it will leak out certain light so that LCD display will get great real. OLEDs are active emitting light, and the black screen can be turned off, so the contrast is much higher. Therefore, OLED screens are more vivid than LCDs.
In the color field, LCD is generated by color filter, and the color field is limited. Therefore, the color of the common LCD phone screen is also relatively weak, which usually can only be 70%~80% of the standard color range of NTSC. OLED can easily exceed 100%, showing a more beautiful color. In response time, OLEDs switch faster and have better results.
